Founded in 1919, G.A. & L. Harrington Pty. Ltd. is a privately owned family company whose operations are directed by John Harrington (Managing Director), Mark Bennett (Engineering Director) and Trent Harrington (Sales Director) who are all shareholders. From its inception the company has specialised in manufacturing pressed metal products and assemblies.

All processes are contained in-house in our 7000 square metre facility located in the suburb of Padstow, N.S.W, Australia. The plant is situated very close to main expressways, making it ideal for the effective supply and transportation of goods.

The plant comprises an extensive range of presses from 10 to 600 tonnes capacity, together with resistance welders, MIG robot welders, pulley forming machines and electrostatic wet paint and powder coating lines. Coil handling and feed lines are capable of processing up to 12mm thick material.

The company operates a modern, well equipped toolmaking facility for tool design, manufacture and maintenance of new and existing tools. All tools are designed, fabricated and serviced by our team of specialist tool-makers, with up-to-date CNC equipment utilised to produce precise and efficient press tools.

Research and development has always been an integral part of the company's activities, with the aim of providing customers with products at less cost than those available through traditional manufacturing methods.

The combination of proven expertise and technology has enabled the company to win contracts for complex metal pressings and fabrication projects in the very competitive 'global marketplace'.
